Pyre looks a little unsure in the pause, like he's worried he's going to get called out on something. He lights up at the next part, though, nodding eagerly.

"Yeah! You can shape fire, you can contain it, but once you give it life it's never really under your control. Er--I mean, obviously everything's under control here at the circus. But humans have been watching fire since before we were human; there's something magical about it."
