That doesn't stop his Asset from spotting what he thinks is him, and pivoting sharply to follow again. People scatter from his brisk pace, again. Or maybe from the fact that he has one of his combat knives in his hand and he has no face.

He gets as far as the next aisle of booths when the vision actually lets go of him and the person he grabs to turn around... is not Pierce. Said person might scream a little, which is a very un-Pierce-like reaction. The thing that is not James Buchanan Barnes-- but which is... also not the Asset-- stares in confusion.
