Wanda cannot tell what he is thinking nor what he wants to do. The look in his face is telling, however, of confusion and being at a loss. There is certainly something messed up about what they're forced to see through hallucinations; the way it plays with their minds, disorients them, probably pulls at a yearning that is too raw to want to willingly explore.
