Who: Manji and Cortana
When: Backdated to early November
Where: In a field
Summary: Cortana and Manji are going to spare
Warnings: Fighting, blood, injuries, possible mention of worms

There was a spot, a fair walk to get to, that Manji was starting to enjoy bringing people out to in order to spar. A place where they could fight without too many people coming to check odd sounds. He invited Cortana out here as he was interested in sparring with someone from the distant future. They've had a couple spars already and, truthfully, Manji had to hold back a lot. A seasoned and highly skilled fighter Cortana was not. Still, everyone started somewhere so he was more than willing to keep this up if she was willing to learn and keep trying. He appreciated her attempts to change her clothing such as wearing thicker boots to do more damage when she kicked at him, but she still felt like nothing when he knocked her down.

He grins as he sees her approaching. Even if it wasn't usually a challenging fight, running around getting dirty and play fighting? It could still be highly entertaining. “Alright. Ready for your next lesson? I Hope you haven't been skipping out on building that muscle I told you to work on!”
better?

Honestly, if he wanted to spar with someone from the distant future, there were probably better options than Cortana. Of course, none of said options were here, but still.

She takes in the field and it's various features then smirks in the way that Manji should be familiar with by now: she's got something up her sleeve, some new trick with which she plans try and even the playing field.

Changing the entire composition of her being without telling him? Well, it's not like he'd understand anyway. Not without a demonstration, at least.

"I may have taken your advice into consideration."

And what better demonstration than this?
