Donnie hasn't thrown every nasty thing he could think of at Peter, but he definitely hasn't been cordial. He's been about as rude as he has the energy to be. Any other sane person would've left by now, and Don would've been thankful for it. He hates this. This- this pushy helpfulness, this flagrant disregard of what he's said he wants.
It reminds him too much of Mikey.
His little brother always managed to look through whatever walls Donnie had erected straight into the heart of what he needed. He'd then proceed to try and meet that need, regardless of whether or not Donatello wanted him to. But while Mikey has the baby brother privilege of rarely incurring Donnie's genuine ire, that privilege doesn't extend to Peter. Or it shouldn't. Peter's not his family. Peter's just a colleague who is also Leo's friend.
If he walks to the tent with Peter, then Peter will leave him alone. The course of action is clear.]
