Taking the glass, Rue set to work, filling it at the sink with just enough water before gazing down at their new dress and using a sharp talon to delicately slice off one of the soft teal ribbons running down the bodice. With surprising ease considering their claws, Rue tied off a perfect bow around the middle of the new vase, before fluffing the flowers around to a most desirable effect. At Sett's generous offer for food, as well as that little sweet tidbit about his mother, their head turned a little owlishly towards him, warmth reflected in their big, dark eyes.
"You made all of this? Truly? I didn't realize you had such skill in the kitchen. I could certainly learn a thing or two from you, hm? But that is quite generous of you. Forgive my forward question, but did your mother teach you? I hear that is a skill that is quite often passed from parent to child on this plane."
