"If you keep encouraging it maybe I'll let it eat you after all," Eda says flatly. It's probably not a genuine threat, although given they're in a dream it's tempting.

"And anyway, magnificent doesn't mean bullet proof," Eda points out, directed at both of them in case he does start giving the creature ideas.

"Before you let this guy give you a big head, remember that time you got us caught by animal control." Admittedly that was animal control in the Demon Realm, but still. A wild animal, even a cool impressive one, against a bunch of armed humans... it won't end well.

And that's ignoring the fact she doesn't want to hurt anyone, and that she wants to keep this job for a shot at getting home.
