Eda wasn't talking to Hickey, but she doesn't clarify. It is good to know he's alive. She's not really sure what happens if you die one of these dreams, but she doesn't really want to find out, either. Especially not when she might get blamed for it.

Fortunately, it doesn't take her too much longer to get there. She spools the thread she was following around one of her hands as she catches up. The owl beast puts a huge paw on top of Hickey and growls possessively.

Eda does her best not to flinch. They may be friends now, but they very much didn't used to be. She folds her arms and does her best to look confident. "Come on, don't you dare. We've talked about this, no eating ADI folks. Drop it."
