John wakes later and lies in bed for some time. Those nightmares...and worse, the ones that became dreams that he could control...that was going to stick with him for some time.
The underlying fear isn't going to go away anytime soon.
He'd always been afraid of what he could do, the person he could be. Without any rules, it's obvious how quickly he'd gone down that path. But he can't stay in bed forever and soon he's back at ADI, trying to avoid anyone he's seen in a dream.
Except there's no avoiding Misty when he nearly accidentally runs into her as he rounds a corner.
"...oh."
He's usually much more collected than this, but those dreams rattled him. Still, she doesn't have the reaction he'd expected?
"...yep. Me. And it's...you."
A beat.
"I probably should have gotten your name before I shot you."
