When that seems to stabilize Bryn somewhat, Eda turns a second oven back on for the moment. She's curious if the number matters, or just having them on at all.
"I could try yelling at the oven," Eda muses, watching Beau and Bryn. But it seems like something registered, a bit. He asked someone for help at any rate.
"But... I think this is like out there. Where we could get through to each other it was just--just hard." And then she remembers what seemed to work for her, and a conversation with Cortana.
"Hey, you're the one who had the thing when you were a kid, right? Where no one could see you? Could you tell us about that? Or about... finding your friends again?" She's not sure if any of that will get through, but she figures it could be worth a shot.
