It takes a little bit of work and some playing of the 'poor blind man' to aid his cause in how he haplessly just dumps money on the front officer's desk when he arrive, but eventually Garner gets...most of it squared away. Something about community service for a couple weeks to pay for the rest that he thinks maybe he can ask someone in ADI to help with since he was pretty sure the work they did for ADI counted as serving the community, but maybe he was missing something.

Either way, significantly poorer but for what was left on his card-money, Garner waits out in he lobby as they assure him his friend will be released to him shortly.

Shortly is really not that short, but eventually Manji's footsteps echo down the main hall and Garner gathers the paperwork he can't read.

"Are you alright?" They're hardly in private just yet, but he also suspects Manji is fine, if not just frustrated.
