as @ milton and @ killerqueen mentioned, there's reason to believe Pyre, Deepthi, and Dunn are involved in the upcoming event.
There's solid evidence given by the disposed Fenix Down that "Pyre's daddy" has business with Dunn. Pyre has been confirmed to be Cole Guttuso, thanks to Crowley's expertise digging, the presumably estranged son of Carl Watts and Desdemona Guttuso.
Cole has had a number of crimes attached to his name, including charges of arson and his connection to Fenix Down was further confirmed.
With Fenix's account of certain facts confirmed, I do not think it is outside the realm of possibility that the rest of what he had to offer was true. Katie Dunn, a known avatar of the Dark is also involved in this. Unsurprising, considering we are talking about a place underground.
The suggestion by Ms. Rae that Deepthi might also be involved cannot be discounted. There is a known connection between them and Deepthi is also an avatar of the Buried. Again, an understandable connection when mines, explosives, and a ritual are involved.
That said, nearly none of the natives George and I talked to seem to recognize Pyre's description with exception to Pastor Paul at the Abundant Faith Baptist Church. He said that in early May, a young man matching the description arrived asking to learn about FYRE and the people behind it and, when the Pastor had no information to give him, the man became irritated and left.
It is entirely possible, if Pyre does not know much about FYRE or Carl Watts directly, they truly are estranged and Watts might have little more to do with this than coincidence. This is supported by the fact it seems most people we talked to were surprised Watts even had a son. Apparently, it was a very well kept secret
This was all that we were able to discover over the course of a couple days investigation with this lead on foot.
