Neal groans a little, aching all over. What happened?

It's dark.

He has glasses on. A mask? He tries to raise a hand to pull them off but it fetches up short against the binding keeping him still.

Well. That's not good. That it's soft, padded, is a plus, but it doesn't convince him that his comfort is the objective. "Peter?"

It's busy around him though. Sounds of a hospital. One of his least favorite places to be. What happened? Did the poison work a little too well?
