Not every day, but sometimes Manji would join Garner on his walks. Not because he thought the man needed a guide or help, but because for all his talk about being fine on his own it was sometimes nice to have company. He wanted to get a better understanding of this strange city and map it out better within his own head. So, when it seemed like Garner was going in a similar direction Manji would join his roommate.

He's usually pretty quiet on their walks. Striking up friendly chatter if Garner seems to want it, but normally he was pretty happy with the companionable silence. When the nightmare hits it takes him by completely surprise. "Wh--what the hell?" The last time the world had gone so dark his remaining eye had been damaged. Immediately he reaches up to feel it. Had he been attacked and missed it somehow? "Ow!" Nope, that eye was still there and in tact.
