Even without a photographic memory Cassandra thinks she'd remember everyone from the cave. Their scared faces, their struggles, the way the seal suit engulfed them. She talked to some of them - in person or telepathically - tried to escape with some of them but now that they're back, now that the adrenaline and immediate need for survival are gone, it leaves her... winded. Empty. Feeling small and scattered and a bit lost.
If this had been a regular mission, she would be in the Annex now. Surrounded by familiar things. The people closest to her. The warm, protective glow of the Library. But she doesn't have that here, none of them do, and that's just... sad. Upsetting.
She hates not feeling safe.
