What in all the glorious circles of Hell did this human just throw at it. The creature turns its seemingly lifeless head slowly, as if not entirely registering that Neal hit it with anything at all. What it does register, though, is the disrespect. Rude.

It swipes lazily at the office worker, grabbing her by the neck, before standing to its full height. Accompanied by the cacophony of an unseen band (a disorienting, deafening symphony seemingly directed straight into Neal's ears), it begins to move towards the human in long, languid strides, dragging its shrieking toy behind it.

It's in no rush. Hell's music will slow him down and steer him wrong.
