"Yeah, I was just--a little worried?" He laughs when Jeff pokes the side of his head, even though a vague part of him is a little worried, just for a second, that his head might fall off because that dream was so real and--

"Yeah, it's almost like--"

It's almost exactly like what he fears because it is what he fears, cutting right through the canteen door. He can see through the darkness--just the barest hint of a grimy hockey mask.

Wait, when did it get dark in here? It's like the lights are going out, a little.

"Maybe I'm still dreaming--I'm still dreaming!?" Eric can only hope he's still dreaming. He reaches out to grab Jeff's shoulder. "Are you dreaming too!?"

It hasn't occurred to him to start running just yet...
